San Mateo, Belize Committee Meeting  -  5:30 pm, Monday, February 22 at the Burns & McDonnell

During the January EWB-KC general meeting, a presentation was given by a young Kansas City elementary student about the community of San Mateo in the Central American country of Belize.  The community is in need of some engineering help so EWB-KC is forming a committee to help get this project recognized by EWB-USA in hopes that an EWB chapter, perhaps Kansas City's, will begin designing sustainable solutions for the community.  The meeting will be Monday, February 22 at 9400 Ward Pkwy. (Burns & McDonnell Office) at 5:30 pm.  If you are interested in joining the group contact Frank Bergh ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
