) or show up at Quivira Park located at the southeast corner of 119th St. &
Quivira Rd. The group will plan to meet at the park at 9:00 AM and clean
until everyone gets tired. Please wear old clothes and bring some
water. The city will provide us with bags and gloves but bring your own
if you would prefer.
This
year there is a contest among the volunteer groups to see who can collect the most
interesting piece of trash (a picture must be taken and a brief description
written) so bring a camera! Also, for volunteers 14 and under there is an
essay contest to write about the Stream Clean event experience. The
prizes for these contests are still to be determined.
